Fleur Meinders
Fleur Meinders plays volleyball for the Ladies in Black Aachen, a team in the German Bundesliga, and she is from the Netherlands. She earned a bronze medal at the German Cup for the 2022/2023 season and has also been the Women’s Dutch Eredivisie runner-up on two occasions. Additionally, she is part of the national volleyball team of the Netherlands and took part in the 2023 Volleyball Nations League.
Fleur Meinders came into the world on August 13, 2001. She began playing volleyball at school and in the youth program of her local club.
Fleur Meinders began her career in 2017 with the local squad Talentteam Papendal Arnhem. For three seasons, she was part of the club, while the team ranked in the middle of the table in the Women’s Dutch Eredivisie. In 2018, she received a call to join the Netherlands U19 national team for the U19 European Championship Qualification matches.
In 2020, she inked a two-season deal with Apollo 8, a prominent team in the Dutch Eredivisie. During her first season with the team, they secured the Dutch Cup and obtained the runner-up position in the Dutch Eredivisie. During her second season with the team, she also participated in the Women’s Challenge Cup, finishing in 17th place. The team secured silver in the Dutch Eredivisie and bronze in the Dutch Cup.
In 2022, Ladies in Black Aachen welcomed Fleur Meinders to join their team in the German Bundesliga. During her first season with the team, they secured the bronze medal at the German Cup 2022/2023, and she earned a spot on the Netherlands’ national volleyball team for the Volleyball Nations League 2023.
In 2024, Fleur Meinders joined the team of Damesvolley Dok Noord GentBelgium and earned the silver at the Belgian Cup and finished 4th in the Belgian Liga A, scoring average 15.00 ppg.
Fleur Meinders returned to the Netherlands in 2025 and joined the team of pollo 8 to play at the Dutch Eredivisie 2025/26.
