Yuliya Gerasymova is a Ukrainian volleyball athlete currently representing the Romanian club Rapid Bucuresti and the Ukrainian national team. She achieved notable success with the national team, winning the Euroleague in 2017 and participating in three European Championships in 2017, 2019, and 2021.

Born on September 15, 1989, in Odessa, Ukraine, Gerasymova began her volleyball journey during her school years.

Her professional career commenced in the 2006/2007 season with the local club Khimik Yuzhny. During her tenure there, she contributed to the team’s five victories in the Ukrainian Women’s Volleyball Super League (2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015) and reached the semifinals of the Continental CEV Challenge Cup in the 2014/15 season.

In 2015, Gerasymova joined Orbita-ZTMC-ZNU Zaporozhya, where she played for a single season, securing a second-place finish in both the Ukrainian Cup and the Ukrainian Superliga.

In 2016, Yuliya Gerasymova relocated to Turkey and joined TED Ankara Kolejliler on a two-season contract. Throughout both seasons, the team secured a 13th place finish in the Turkiye Kadinlar Voleybol 1. Ligi.

In 2018, she transferred to another Turkish club, Karayollari Spor Kulubu. Over the course of three seasons with this team, Gerasymova’s debut season saw them achieve a 9th place finish in the Turkiye Kadinlar Voleybol Ligi and also rank 9th in the Turkish Cup. The second season was significantly affected by the coronavirus pandemic, and in the 2020/2021 season, the team ended up in 13th place in the league.

In 2021, Yuliya Gerasymova returned to Ukraine, where she played for SC Prometey for one season. During the 2021/2022 season, the team achieved a remarkable treble, winning the Ukrainian Cup, Ukrainian Supercup, and Ukrainian Superliga. Additionally, SC Prometey participated in the Champions League, finishing in 16th place.

For the 2022/2023 season, she signed with the Polish team Roleski Grupa Azoty Tarnow. The team triumphed in the Polish 1. Liga Kobiet and secured a 9th place finish in the Polish Cup.
